Features
- Self-levelling pre-dosed mortar for fast setting.
- Self-levelling coating from 1 to 15 mm.
- Thin but with great mechanical strength and strong adhesion to the applied base.
- Classified as a self-levelling mortar in accordance with EN-13813.
Advantages
- Easy workability over a long time.
- Good finish and final appearance of the surface.
- Excellent adhesion to cementitious mortars and concrete.
- High-strength results.
Benefits
- Excellent levelling capacity.
- Fast commissioning.
Do not add lime or cement: this causes a lack of adhesion, cracks and delayed drying times.
Do not apply to dirty surfaces or surfaces with paint residue, dust, water etc.
Do not apply outdoors.
Do not apply in areas subject to rising damp.
Do not apply outside the permitted temperature range.
Do not use on metal surfaces.
These instructions are merely recommendations based on our experience. We recommend performing tests for each new type of application or surface to be treated.
Datasheets(X)
For use on self-levelling cementitious pavements with thicknesses between 1 and 15 mm, respecting structural joints and creating concrete joints at least every 50 m2.
Cementitious pavements that are suitable for subsequent application of ceramic tiles, carpet, parquet, vinyl, linoleum, PVC.
Constructing floors on concrete and mortar, and on surfaces subject to radiant heating.
The substrate must be in good condition, clean and free from dust, surface grout, loose particles or any other material that prevents good adhesion.
Any gaps or empty areas must be repaired at least 24 hours before applying the product, using RISAN R type filling mortars (art. no. 0893200301).
Application on absorbent substrates: to improve the adhesion of Levelplan to the substrate, first apply Consolidating Impregnation for Construction (art. no. 0893001010). This primer will also prevent air bubbles from forming and the mortar from dehydrating while it sets.
Preparing the mixture: mix 6.25 litres of water per 25 kg Levelplan container and mix the product at high speed for 2 minutes using an electric drill fitted with a Cowles propeller.
Applying the mixture: spread the mixture by pumping or by hand with a triangular metal trowel of at least 6 x 6 mm. Immediately smooth the surface using a nylon spiked roller.
Final finish: Levelplan can be left exposed in areas of low pedestrian traffic or can be covered with ceramic tiles, carpet, parquet, vinyl, linoleum, PVC or paint. In general, the Levelplan surface will be ready to receive any final covering 12 hours after being laid, but the decision to start laying the final covering can only be made by measuring the moisture in the Levelplan layer, as thickness, temperature and ambient humidity are factors that speed up or delay the drying of the product. It is recommended that the moisture level not exceed 5 % if laying ceramic tiles or 2 % if laying a wooden, parquet or carpet surface.
Consumption
Depending on the roughness of the substrate, 1.6 kg/m2 of product is required per mm of thickness.
