- Controlled shrinkage, fibre-reinforced and fast-setting, achieving high initial resistance to flexion and compression.
- Only requires mixing with water, obtaining a mortar that is easy to work and smooth using trowels.
- Highly resistant to abrasion, weather and wear.
- High flexural and compressive strength.
- Physical-mechanical characteristics very similar to those of concrete: elasticity, permeability etc.
- Strong adhesion to most building materials: mortar, concrete, stone and brick.
- Does not sag.
- As it is alkaline in nature, it protects rebars.
- Per the EN 1504-3 standard, repair mortar R2.
Do not add extra sand, lime or cement. This will cause problems with sagging and lack of adhesion.
These instructions are merely recommendations based on our experience. We recommend performing tests for each new type of application or surface to be treated.
Suitable for protecting and repairing non-structural concrete structures per EN 1504-3.
Repairing and protecting the covering layer in concrete structures.
Ideal for repairs of balconies, cornices, lintels, pillars, beams, window fences, doors, bolt anchors.
Repairing surface defects such as holes or gravel nests, even when thick.
Reconstructing concrete steps, ornamental pieces, stone walls etc.
Sealing stable cracks and fissures.
Reinforcing concrete walls.
Due to its very high resistance to wear, it is ideal for: pavements, ramps, canals, bridges etc.
Excellent for vertical and horizontal repairs, even against gravity.
1 Preparing the substrate: Remove any traces of deteriorated, disjointed, unsound or crumbly concrete, traces of dust, paint, wax, release agents etc. Deoxidise the rebars. To prevent the formation of rust, apply Passrepair, a passivating primer, art. no. 5875100330 to iron rebars. Highly absorbent substrates or substrates exposed to the sun in hot weather must be moistened beforehand to prevent the rapid loss of water from the repair mortar.
2 Preparing the product: mix approx. 4 litres of water per 25 kg of mortar. Use an electric mixer at low rpm to prevent lumps.
3 Applying the product: apply the mortar using a float or trowel. A fine trowel is very useful for smoothing out the product. It is applied without the need to use formwork, in a minimum thickness of 5 mm and a maximum thickness of 35 mm per layer. When applied in strong sunlight, moisten the substrate. Once the repair is done, protect the surface using a shade cover and wetting the surface periodically. This prevents the appearance of superficial micro-cracks caused by the surface drying too quickly.
Storage
Keep for 12 months in its original sealed container, stored in a dry place. Protect from frost and excessive heat.
Consumption
Approximately 19 kg/m² per cm of thickness, depending on the roughness of the substrate.
