Features
- Fittings for copper pipe connection on the air-conditioning unit.
- Connections between outdoor unit (compressor) and indoor unit (evaporator) via insulated copper pipe. They can be connected to most thermostatic valves, manometers, dehydrator filters and other components via a gasket.
- In accordance with the new CEN standards for cold-storage installations (EN 378/1 and EN 378/2). Directive EN 378-2.2000 recommends non-mechanical joints.
Advantages
- Cost-effective. Saves assembly time by not requiring additional tube treatment. Replaces welding and flaring quickly, safely and economically.
- Maximum safety and reliability. Flaring errors are avoided. Incorrect assembly is impossible and no parts need to be replaced after maintenance or repair. Subjected to internal testing according to DIN 3859 and by CETIM: Bending resistance test: after 10 million cycles at 50 Hz under nominal pressure. Helium leak detector (gas tightness): < 0.5 g/year (10-6 mbar l/s). Pressure tests to breakage (4 times nominal pressure): no leaks. Thermal cycling test (5 cycles from -40 ºC to +120 ºC): no leaks.
- Robust design. Connections can be installed and removed as many times as necessary.
- Increases the lifetime of the installation. Environmentally friendly. The flared and/or welded connections are the weakest point in refrigerant gas leaks or losses.
