ASSY®plus unit chipboard screw
For constructing the primary structure and screwing different sheeting materials such as MDF, multiplex and chipboard together. Thanks to the special thread length for constructing the primary structure and the countersunk milling pockets, the components are pulled together without gaps and force-locked.

Hardened steel, yellow zinc-plated
Precise positioning, no rupturing
Precise positioning of the screw is no problem at all thanks to its centring drilling tip, which was specially designed for this purpose. The drilling cutting edges guarantee perfect drilling performance, just like a Forstner bit. They also prevent troublesome splitting or rupturing of the wood.
Fast screw-in
The gentle start of the thread after the drilling tip enables rapid screw-in.
Easy and clean countersinking
The countersunk milling pockets facilitate clean and simple countersinking of the screw. Chips formed at the surface during the screwing-in process are collected.
AW drive for optimum guidance and transmission of force
Thanks to the AW drive, a tight fit of the bit in the screw drive is guaranteed. This prevents wobbling impacts and sliding of the bit from the screw while screwing in.
When selecting the screw length, keep in mind that the thread should not be fully anchored into the surface.
Timber dimensioning software, load tables and detailed processing instructions can be found on the service page www.wuerth.de/assy.
ASSY 3.0 chipboard screws are optimised for use in wooden materials. Use in plastic anchors may cause a reduction in the load-bearing capacity. Therefore, we recommend only using screws without optimised thread tips (drill tip, mating thread, ring thread, serrated edge, self-clearing groove etc.) in plastic anchors, e.g. ASSY D, DIN 571 hexagon wood screws or Wüpofast screws.
Substrates: Solid wood (coniferous wood, ash, beech, oak), laminated beams, cross laminated timber (CLT), timber veneer (coniferous wood or BauBuche), OSB and chipboard.
