Features
- Primer for Sealproof EVO system for low porous substrates, with residual moisture or negative pressure.
- 2-component water-based epoxy.
- The water-based system makes the product easier to apply, odour-free and non-flammable.
- Compatible with wet substrates.
- Once polymerised, the product forms a crystalline product of great hardness and resistance to abrasion.
- Can act as a vapour barrier.
- Prevents bubbles from forming on the surface of the waterproofing due to residual moisture.
Avoid partial use of the product whenever possible. If it is necessary to do so, always observe the prescribed dosage ratio.
Once used, do not leave exposed to UV rays After 4-6 hrs., paint with Sealproof EVO.
These instructions are merely recommendations based on our experience. We recommend performing tests for each new type of application or surface to be treated.
Essential for all substrates with moisture levels above 4 % prior to treatment with the Sealproof EVO system.
Primer for non-porous substrates; substrates with residual moisture, negative pressure or rising damp; industrial floors or tiles; concrete; marble; steel or galvanised steel.
The surface to be treated must be smooth, clean, dry, free from residual moisture and as hard as possible. Can be applied with a short hair roller, brush or airless gun. Mix the two components with a stirrer at low speed until the mixture is completely homogenised. Between 10 and 30 % water can be added. Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C. If the surface to be treated is hot, it is advisable to wet the substrate beforehand. After applying, wait 4-6 hours before painting with Sealproof EVO.
Amounts used
The approximate amount used is 0.100-0.350 kg/m2 when used as a primer. From 0.500-1 kg/m2 if a vapour barrier is required. And from 0.300-0.500 kg/m2 if used as a concrete protector.
