  • Reference values for selecting the correct core-hole diameter are included in DIN 7975

  • Type C = thread with tip

  • Type F = thread without tip

  • Type R = thread with rounded tip
Notice

Stainless steel tapping screws are softer than case-hardening steel tapping screws. These screws therefore do not form a counter thread in steel sheets. For this reason, they should only be used in soft materials, such as aluminium.
