Features
- Multilayer system composed of a high-density material with thermally bonded polyester and cotton fibre.
- Absorbs noise at high, mid and low frequencies.
Advantages
- Decreases vibrations in rigid materials.
- Improves acoustic performance in lightweight partitions.
- Flexible and adaptable to any shape or surface. Simplifies installation in hard-to-reach areas.
- Improves high, mid and low frequency acoustic insulation thanks to its low elasticity modulus and high density.
- High durability.
- Easy to handle, cut and install.
Benefits
Achieves high acoustic performance with low thickness while winning back useful surface area in the building.
The material must be stored upright.
Datasheets(X)
Acoustic absorption of airborne noise and vibrations in dividing walls between different users in residential or commercial buildings.
Acoustic insulation against airborne noise in vertical partitions of low surface mass, such as laminated gypsum plasterboard and in lightweight partitions.
Renovation works with low thickness requirements.
Acoustic insulation against airborne noise in high surface mass vertical partitions, such as double brick wall systems.
Soundproofing of industrial cabins and machine rooms.
Soundproofing of underfloor piping and service areas.
For hard-to-reach cavities and surfaces.
Suitable for all types of construction supports. The medium must be uniform, clean, dry and free from items that may cause damage. If the plaster or render is old, its condition should be checked to prevent adhesion problems. Cut the insulation to the appropriate size of the surface to be covered. Rest the insulator on the surface, the part of the insulator containing cotton fibre should always be installed in contact with the medium and the viscoelastic sheet on the outside. This allows us to achieve the mass-spring-mass effect of the construction solution. Fix using contact glue, covering the entire installation surface and the textile side of the insulator with adhesive. Wait until both surfaces are dry to the touch before bonding the insulator. It can also be fixed mechanically or as a supplement to chemical bonding with the W-DDX insulating plugs; the recommended use is four units per m2 on walls and five units per m2 on ceilings. When drilling the insulating material, using rotary drills is recommended, removing any textile residue from the drill bit. Installation between different layers is carried out by sealing the joints with Isoban.
