Application area

• Laying stoneware, porcelain stoneware, natural stone on mortar or plaster substrates.

• Exterior façades and pavements.

• Kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, patios and interiors in general.

• Swimming pools and water tanks on mortar where the substrate has not been waterproofed.

• Underfloor heating.

• Ideal for high traffic areas: airports, supermarkets, industry, hospitals etc.

Instructions

• Substrates must always be strong, solid, and free from dust, paint, wax and oil.

• Mix 6 litres of water per 25 kg bag.

• Mix with an electric beater to a smooth, lump-free paste.

• Let stand for 2 minutes and mix again before applying.

• Spread the paste with a toothed trowel with teeth sized according to size of the ceramic tiles to be laid. Spread the paste in sections not exceeding 2 m² and comb it with the toothed trowel in a straight line, perpendicular to an edge of the tile and before laying the tiles: the less time taken between combing the paste and laying the tile, the better the adhesion will be. Then, firm up all the tiles by tapping them with a rubber club hammer.

• Tiles can still be worked on up to 30 minutes after spreading the paste.

• Min. application temperature 5°C and max. 35°C.

• It can totally withstand traffic for grouting after 24 hours.

It is essential to follow the specifications of Chapter 7.4. of the EN 138.002 standard when laying on façades. Use the double bonding technique. If the tiles are larger than 30 x 30 cm, use stainless steel metal anchors as well.
