Application area

• For waterproofing drinking water tanks.

• For all kinds of water pipes, irrigation channels, wells and ponds.

• When waterproofing swimming pools, the product must be recoated with a protective ceramic coating.

• For structures below the water table.

• For waterproofing basements and garages.

• For waterproofing supports that may sustain or have small deformations or cracks.

• For indoor and outdoor use.

• Preferably apply on the positive side (the side subject to water pressure).

• For creating waterproof coatings on floors that are always covered with a protective element (mortar, tiles etc.).

Instructions

1. Preparation of the surface

The surface must be clean and firm prior to application of the product.

Oil stains, grease, paint, dust, release agents and cement residues must be removed.

Moisten the surface before applying the product and keep it moist during application. Cracks and holes must be sealed beforehand, create rounded corners at joints.

2. Preparing the paste:

The two components of the product must be mixed together. Pour the liquid component into a clean container and slowly add the powder component while mixing the paste with a mixing drill until a uniform, lump-free paste is formed. If applying the mortar with a brush, 0.6 litres of water needs to be added per set. Wait five minutes and mix again briefly. Do not add to the mortar if the product loses plasticity.

3. Applying the paste:

The product should always be applied with a minimum of 2 coatings with a thickness of between 2 and 3 mm per coating, for a total thickness of 5 mm. Using a trowel or brush, apply the product to the positive side of the support (the side subject to the water pressure. Wait a minimum of three days if other materials have been applied on top of the product.
