Alloys according to UNE-EN ISO 17672 standard
Silver Electrode 25 % - Ag Alloy 125
Silver Electrode 34 % - Alloy Ag 134
Silver Electrode 45 % - Alloy Ag 145

Cadmium is classified as a carcinogen. Removing it from alloys provides:

  • Better working conditions and worker health.

  • More environmentally friendly welding work.

  • Compliance with the new Regulation (EU) No. 494/2011, applicable from 10 January 2012.

The composition of the different alloys continues to provide:

Low melting point, saving time and energy when welding.

The quantity and quality of silver, being a noble metal, ensure:

  • Excellent fluidity, which makes the weld "run" perfectly inside the elements to be joined.

  • Very high mechanical strength that remains elastic, ensuring optimum tensile and torque parameters.

  • Excellent corrosion resistance. Ensures effective defence against attack by environmental agents, ensuring lasting welds.

The electrodes coated with deoxidiser, offer us:

  • Saves time on handling and offers greater ease of welding.

  • The deoxidiser does not come off, maintaining a great flexibility.
Notice

REGULATION (EU) No. 494/2011 (REACH)

According to COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) No. 494/2011 of 20 May 2011 as regards Annex XVII (cadmium), published in the Official Journal of the European Union on 21 May 2011 and applicable from 10 January 2012 in each Member State.

It states that cadmium:

Shall not be used brazing fillers in concentrations equal to or greater than 0.01 % by weight.

Brazing fillers shall not be placed on the market if the concentration of cadmium (expressed as Cd metal) is equal to or greater than 0.01 % by weight.

For the purpose of this paragraph brazing shall mean a joining technique using alloys and undertaken at temperatures above 450°C.
