• It is recommended that no more than three grains be skipped in the repair process to achieve a better finish.


• For sanding mastics, primers, fillers, old paint, wood, varnishes etc.


• Depending on some colours, such as silver and light pearls, there are some paint marks where it is advisable to finish the repainting process with P600 and P800 grains.


• Finer grains such as P1500 and P2000 are more suitable for pre-polishing work.

Advantage of plastic backing over paper backing

Plastic has greater resistance than paper to peeling, tearing, stretching and especially compression. In sanding, when the backing is made from paper, abrasive grains are embedded in the backing and this results in less cutting power and sanding. This does not happen with the plastic backing, prolonging the service life of the product.
